Illuminateretreats.com (the “Site”) is operated by ISANO Connect Pvt. Ltd. (“we” or “our” or “us”). We are a company registered in England and Wales under company number 08556000 and with our registered office at Kemp House, 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. Our email address is info@isano.co.uk.

If you are accessing, using or browsing this website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions, which together with our Privacy Policy govern our relationship with you in connection to this website. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website.

Before booking your retreat with Illuminate Retreats, each person travelling must read our Terms & Conditions carefully. Once your booking is confirmed, it is deemed that you have accepted the Terms & Conditions along with the Client Waiver and Release.

  • Bookings
    In the case of the Early Bird offer a deposit of £250 and for the Regular Rates, a 50% deposit per person is required. Your booking is not confirmed until we receive this deposit and our team confirms your booking via email. When we receive your deposit, we will send you a confirmation email, with your booking details.
    Where part payment has been paid, a final request will be sent to you 30 days before the retreat start date. If the balance of the price of your retreat is not paid within 7 days of sending our invoice, we reserve the right to cancel your place and retain 25% of your payments.If you are making your booking within the period of 15 days of the retreat, full payment will be necessary immediately to confirm your booking.If we are unable to accept your booking, we will inform you and will not charge you. This might be because the retreat is full, or because of unexpected limits on our resources which we could not reasonably plan for, or because we have identified an error in the price or description of the retreat, or because we are unable to schedule a retreat on the dates you have specified.

  • Retreat Prices
    Prices listed on our website are GBP (British Pound Sterling) “from” or “starting from) prices per person unless otherwise stated. Upon completing one of the online enquiry forms, sending an email or contacting us via phone or Facebook, an Illuminate team member will contact you to confirm the final price. Our retreat prices include accommodation, all meals and group yoga classes unless stated differently in your booking confirmation email. We reserve the right to alter the accommodation, travel, classes, meals, Luminaries or any other aspect of our retreats in circumstances beyond our control, but we will always give you as much notice and detail of alternative arrangements as soon as possible.
    Our prices exclude flights, travel insurance, and excursions unless otherwise stated, and 
  • Your Rights to Make Changes
    If you wish to make a change to your booking, please contact us at info@isano.co.uk or hello@illuminateretreats.com. We will let you know if the change is possible. If it is possible, we will let you know about any changes to the price of the booking, the timing of your stay, or anything else which would be necessary as a result of your requested change and ask you to confirm whether you wish to go ahead with the change. You have the right to amend your booking dates, provided you give us at least 30 days’ notice before the start of your original booking.

  • Cancellation by You
    For cancellations up to 30 days or more, 30% of your retreat cost will be refunded and the balance paid will be credited towards any future retreat with Illuminate and this credit would be valid for 18 months from the original date of commencement of the retreat.
    For cancellations up to 30 days or less, 50% of your retreat cost will be retained, where we are unable to cover the costs of your cancellation. If we successfully fill your spot we will refund 80% of the retreat cost. \nFor cancellations less than 7 days, we reserve the right to charge you up to 100% of the retreat cost, where we are unable to cover the costs of your cancellation. Where we successfully fill your spot we will refund 80% of the retreat cost.

    Illuminate bookings are transferable, provided such transfer is communicated to us at info@isano.co.uk and we encourage you to find a replacement to take your spot in order to minimize the cancellation charges. Should you find a friend to replace you, we will refund you 80% and give your replacement a 20% reduction in the cost of the spot (or you can manage the % of the full refund between yourselves).
    *A 3% credit card processing fee will be retained for refunds in case of payments made by credit card.
    **Once the full amount of the Early Bird offer has been made, the above Cancellation Terms shall apply and any deposit paid until then is refundable.
  • Cancellations by Illuminate Retreats
    Illuminate Retreats will always endeavour to fulfil confirmed bookings however, we do reserve the right to cancel. If we cancel a booking prior to the commencement of the activity and/or services the Client will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
    If the retreat is cancelled due to a Covid lockdown or government policy, we will give a credit toward a future retreat within the next 18 months or a full refund once the venue returns the payment to the organisers. \n\n
  • Refund
    Once the retreat has begun, no refund or part refund or unused portion of the retreat will be repaid in the event of cancellation by you.
    We will make any refunds due to you as soon as possible, and in any case, your refund will be made within 20 days of your request to cancel your booking. \n\n
  • Electronic Devices
    For the consideration of other Clients and for your own relaxation please turn mobile phones silent while taking part in any activity. In addition, please do not electronically record or take photos of other Clients during your stay without their express consent.

  • Lost Property
    Items left at the retreat can be posted to you as long as the value of goods does not exceed £100. The cost of postage must be paid prior to items being sent. Alternatively, items can be collected. We require collection or requests for postage of forgotten items within one month of departure date. After this time, items may be destroyed or otherwise disposed of.

  • Valuables
    No responsibility can be accepted by Iluminate Retreats for the safety of money or valuables of any kind brought to the venue whether placed in the safe or not. If you do bring valuable items, it is essential they are covered by your own insurance for the period of your stay. We are not liable, under any circumstances whatsoever, for damage, injury or consequential loss, however, caused.

  • Zero-tolerance Policy
    We operate a ‘zero-tolerance policy towards disruptive Clients. Any breach of our Terms & Conditions or rude, abusive or offensive behaviour (towards clients, or staff) may result in your immediate removal from the venue without a refund.

  • Special Requests
    If you have any special requests or dietary requirements, you must advise us at the time of booking. This includes any allergy or religious restriction such as Halal. Whilst we are happy to inform the supplier of these, we cannot guarantee that these will be accommodated. Where it is possible for us to make arrangements to necessitate your dietary requirements concerning personal health and safety, this may entail an additional and separate charge payable by you. We highly suggest repeating any requirements upon arrival of your chosen experience. Our chefs and cooking staff are usually flexible and will do their best to accommodate requests where possible.
    Our retreats are generally vegan/vegetarian and alcohol-free. Exceptions are for Halal-retreats, wine-tasting, and other specialised retreats. Please consult our team for more information or requests.
  • Health & Wellbeing
    Your health and well-being are our paramount concerns. We believe that you are the best person to be in control of your health. We ask that you seek professional medical advice about any conditions or concerns you have and act appropriately on this advice, even if it means not undertaking exercise or classes. We ask that you let us know if you feel unwell for any reason whilst on our premises so we can help.
    We give no guarantee of health benefits or improvements. All services offered are used at your own risk. \n\n
  • Insurance
    We strongly recommend that you take out full travel insurance at the moment you book your retreat to cover your payments should you need to cancel plus, flight cancellation, delay and curtailment, medical expenses, and loss of personal belongings.We are not responsible for any expenses incurred by you in preparing for the trip including non-refundable or penalty-carrying airline tickets, visa or passport fees or other trip-related expenses, so please make sure you have comprehensive travel cancellation insurance in place when you book.
  • Social Media
    By attending any of our retreats, you agree to give permission for ISANO Connect Ltd trading as Illuminate Retreats to use any photos of videos taken by us in our social media accounts and website. You may opt out of this before payment of the retreat. 
  • Force Majeure
    Any circumstance not within our reasonable control including, without limitation: acts of God, flood, drought, earthquake or other natural disasters; epidemic or pandemic; terrorist attack, civil war, civil commotion or riots, war, the threat of or preparation for war, armed conflict, imposition of sanctions, embargo, or breaking off of diplomatic relations; any law or any action taken by a government or public authority.
    If we are prevented, hindered or delayed in or from performing any of our obligations under these terms and conditions or your booking for your stay, by a Force Majeure Event, we shall not be in breach of this agreement or otherwise liable for any such failure or delay in the performance of such obligations.You shall be permitted to cancel your booking and obtain a refund, provided that such notice of cancellation on the basis of a Force Majeure event is received from you. If we receive your notice to cancel 10 days before the start of your stay, we shall, in our sole discretion, be permitted to offer you an alternative date to re-book your stay with us, which, once re-booked, cannot be amended further and no refund will be offered for a re-booked stay irrespective of when notice is received from you that you wish to amend or cancel such re-booked stay with us.
  • COVID-19
    Illuminate Retreats takes its health and safety responsibilities extremely seriously. We\’ve been examining the government\’s recommendations for businesses like ours on how to limit risk during a pandemic with great attention.- Please do not attend Illuminate if you have signs of COVID-19, which include a high temperature, a new and persistent cough, and a loss of smell and taste.
    – We expect all luminaries to be fully vaccinated against COVID\’19 although we will not be imposing a strict policy.– We will not be imposing social distancing but please respect the space of others. Please note there may be some contact with Yoga Luminaries. Notify us if you would like to maintain distance.– If you begin to experience symptoms after arriving at the location, please remain in your room, and notify a member of the Illuminate team as soon as possible. \n\n
  • Privacy
    Your use of illuminateretreats.com is subject to our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy, which informs users of our data collection practices.

  • Prohibited Use
    You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Site is strictly in accordance with these Terms & Conditions. As a condition of your use of the Site, you warrant that you will not use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms. You may not use the Site in any manner which could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Site or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of the Site.
  • Liability Disclaimer
    The information is provided “as is,” without any guarantees. You are solely responsible for your use of the Site. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages or any damages whatsoever including, without limitation, damages for loss of use, data or profits, arising out of or in any way connected with the use or performance of the Site, with the delay or inability to use the Site or related services, including, any errors or omissions in any content, whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility. Because some states/jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such states or jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
  • Changes to Terms & Conditions
    We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to change the Terms & Conditions under which Illuminate Retreats are offered.

To the extent that any part of these Terms & Conditions are found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable by any court of competent jurisdiction such part shall to that extent be severed from the remaining Terms & Conditions all of which shall remain in full force and effect as permitted by law.
The most current version of the Terms & Conditions will supersede all previous versions. We encourage you to periodically review the Terms & Conditions to stay informed of our update.
