Location

The villa is located just 9 kms from the splendid baroque town of Ragusa Ibla with its remarkably unspoilt historical centre and character-filled lanes. The main artery of the town is the perfect venue for the evening “passeggiata”. About 15 kms from the property lies the Irminio River Oasis which is now a wildlife protected area where the vegetation typical of the Mediterranean joins the clear sea and shallow water. The vast archeological park and the island of Ortigia in Syracuse are also within easy reach, as well as the amazing nature reserves of Cavagrande del Cassibile and Vendicari, the gorgeous beach at Pozzallo, the Ispica Caves as well as Caltagirone. The nearby archeological site and nature reserve at Pantalica is well-worth visiting too.

32.7 km from Comiso Airport, 40 mins by car.

Best time to go

The best time to visit Sicily is from May to June or September to October. July and August are very hot months. The low season from November through April, brings lower temperatures, during which time it’s not advisable to swim in the sea (for retreat locations near the beach).

Please bear in mind that all our retreat locations are carefully selected to provide an aesthetic ambiance for you to spend time indoors comfortably, as part of your time to heal and relax. Most venues have internal areas for yoga (some have temporary customised spaces), so even if the weather is not warm outside, any activities will be delivered indoors.
