Best time to go
March to May: March marks the beginning of spring in London and the temperature hovers around a pleasant 20 degree Celsius. These months welcome you with longer daylight hours, pleasant weather and a few showers (so don’t forget to carry an umbrella). However, do watch out for public holidays like Good Friday and the Monday after Easter during which many shops are closed and there are reduced public transport services.
June to August: With a mix of rain and sunshine, summer is a pleasant time to visit London. The temperature ranges between 13 to 30 degrees Celsius. This is the perfect time to visit London, go sightseeing and enjoy many music festivals and outdoor attractions like its beautiful parks, gardens and rooftop bars. Book for the popular attractions in advance to avoid queues.
September to November: The temperature ranges from 11 to 15 degree Celsius. The moderate weather is perfect to enjoy fun events like Halloween, pre-Christmas celebrations and more. You also get to experience the autumn colours in these months.
December to February: Winter in London can get very cold with the temperature dropping to 1 degree Celsius. The average temperature range is between 1 to 8 degrees Celsius. The city witnesses a drop in tourist footfall during the winter months, which makes it a good time to enjoy London all to yourself without crowds of tourists. Put on layers to save yourself from the cold and get set to experience the beautiful Christmas time in London when Christmas markets come alive.
Please bear in mind that all our retreat locations are carefully selected to provide an aesthetic ambiance for you to spend time indoors comfortably, as part of your time to heal and relax. Most venues have internal areas for yoga (some have temporary customised spaces), so even if the weather is not warm outside, any activities will be delivered indoors.
