With a background in arts, crafts and education, Jennifa Chowdhury’s design work aims to contribute to new understandings at the intersection of heritage. Her workshops use pattern making to investigate contemporary expressions of identity and belonging.

Explored through the magic of Islamic geometric design, which combines elements of math, art, and history; or echoing the concept of ‘connection’ in her mindful approach to origami; to land art, which takes the form of ephemeral mandalas constructed from natural materials discovered in the local landscape.
