MERIEM BENDAHMANE | YOGA

Meriem believes yoga is the best practice to embrace your true self and cultivate contentment in this incredibly competitive society of ours. In fact, yoga which means Union, is a beautiful journey of oneness with the self allowing everyone to open up to a world of possibilities.
She loves sharing her passion and showing the importance of contentment and gratitude through yoga. Contentment is about finding ease, she encourages students to be content with where they are and what they have, then it’s easier to experience ease in their body, thoughts, and spirit. Her classes suit everyone and are adapted to all levels, focusing on mindfulness, breath, movement, balance, inner strength and exploring the body and mind.
We love her long savasana and body scan meditation as well as the relaxing massage she gives at the end of it.
Meriem is part of the Illuminate Team’s Country Manager for Morocco, so if you want to experience Marrakesh (and other places), she’s one of the Luminaries to select.
Meryem's Story
She practiced yoga to access a self-healing process then got certified once in Rishikesh in 2020 and freshly in Nepal. Also recently certified Marma and Thai yoga massage therapist.
